A Marysville man died Monday from injuries he suffered in a collision with a semi, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The 57-year-old victim was driving a 2014 Honda Accord southbound on Highway 113 near Subacco Road at about 9 a.m, the CHP said in a press release. He made a turn across the center line and into the path of a northbound Freightliner semi truck and trailer driven by Gregorio Perez, 55, of Tracy.

Another vehicle, a 2004 Ford F-150, driven by Brian Clay Jeremiah, 51, of Yuba City, was hit by the Honda Accord after it collided with the semi.

Perez and Jeremiah were transported to Rideout Memorial Hospital by Bi-county Ambulance Service with minor injuries, the CHP said.

The identity of the man killed was being held until family was notified.

The CHP said alcohol and drugs were not believed to be a factor. The victim who died, according to the CHP, was not wearing a seatbelt.
