Questions for candidates are welcome for upcoming forums being hosted by the Yuba-sutter Chamber of Commerce. The first forum is this Wednesday and features Yuba County District 1 supervisor candidates and Yuba County assessor candidates.

The forums will be moderated by former radio newsman Bob Harlan and Appeal-democrat Editor Steve Miller.

Yuba County candidate forums will be in the Yuba County Government Center; Sutter County candidate forums will be in the Yuba City City Council chambers. Each session will last about 45 minutes and there will be two sessions per date, starting at 6 p.m.

Moderators will pose the questions. Attendees are encouraged to write out their questions and send them up. Citizens who want to pose questions are also welcome to email them to Adnewsroom@appealdemocrat. com or by messaging us via the Appeal-democrat Facebook page.

Also, there is an online survey open that citizens can use to pose questions, as well. To participate, go to appealdemocrat.com and click on the “Questions for Candidates” header, then click into the survey.
