IT IS TIME AGAIN FOR OUR “BEST OF” READERS CHOICE AWARDS

THE BEST OF THE BEST IN YUBA-SUTTER FOR 2018.

NOMINATIONS (JUNE 15-30)

It is free to nominate a business and/or individual. Whether you’re a business owner, employee or patron we want you to share your “#1” with Yuba-sutter. Nominations are taken during this period and come July 1 these nominations will be available online for the voting period. All we ask is that your listing be something or someone who is currently in business, located w/in our area and fit the category you’re nominating them in. We review all nominations to make sure they’re accurate before making them available to voters. Categories are populated with last years voted businesses/individuals to start. If you’re interested in nominating a business or individual visit Appealdemocrat.com and click on the top “Best Of” banner. You will be directed to a site where you can see who has been listed. If you can’t find the business/individual you’re looking for, email info@ appealdemocrat.com and add “Best Of Nominations” to the subject line. In the email include the category, business name, individual name (if applicable) and business address. Someone will respond letting you know your email has been received.

VOTING (JULY 1-31)

Visit Appealdemocrat.com and click on the top “Best Of” banner. You will be directed to a site where you can sign in and vote for your top choices! Each person will be asked to log in with their email to help distinguish between voters. You only get 1 chance to vote so make sure you spend time and are happy with your choices before logging out. Voting takes place all of July and at midnight on the 31st we will cut off votes. Remember to look at all listings before voting. Sometimes businesses have two names. For example your favorite dentist may be listed under his/her business name vs. their personal name as a Doctor.

CALCULATIONS (AUGUST 1-30)

We take this process very serious. With months of preparation and a team behind making sure votes are accurate and ethical, we’re proud of what is produced. The month of August is reserved for our team to calculate and contact winners. We notify those who have placed first (Best Of), Second & Third (Favorites).

PUBLISHING (SEPTEMBER 28)

We are proud to announce that the 2018 publish date is Friday - September 28, 2018. You will find Best Of inserted in the Appeal-democrat that day and in participating advertiser businesses in the coming days. We hope you pick up a copy, search for your favorites and enjoy the read!
