Two big innings propel Heat past Gold Sox

The Heat recorded three hits and took advantage of two errors and a walk to take a 4-0 lead in the second inning before sending 14 batters to the plate during their nine-run rally in the eighth. Chico added another run in the ninth for good measure.

The Gold Sox didn’t record a hit for six straight innings before Josh Winkler led off the bottom of the ninth with a double and scored on another double by Jacob Terao to avoid the shutout.
