The group wants to hear business success stories and how people overcame challenges as a way to improve business in town. A nohost breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the meeting will start at 8 a.m. The meeting is free and open to the public.

“We’re encouragin­g people, business owners, employees and friends with any successful business stories to come and share them,” said Judy Mann, one of the organizers. “We encourage new business owners to come and listen as a way to help learn how to make the most of doing business downtown.”

Mann, along with Kenneth Freeman, Peppie Schrader and Yuba County Supervisor Mike Leahy are part of the group.

“We started holding these meetings about three years ago and our main purpose is to help the businesses in Marysville succeed,” Mann said.
