Caltrans releases work schedule for the week

Caltrans is continuing work on roads and highways in District 3, including in Yuba, Sutter and Colusa counties.

Projects include work on State Route 20 to straighten and flatten curves, sidewalk upgrades on State Route 20 and 70, utility work and more. Here’s what’s expected in the area this week: and shoulder restrictio­ns from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. today through Thursday for curb, gutter and sidewalk work.

State Route 20: Between I Street and Orange Street, east- and westbound motorists can expect various lane and shoulder restrictio­ns from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. today through Thursday for curb, gutter and sidewalk work.

State Route 70: Between the Second and 18th Street, southbound motorists can expect the No. 2 lane and right shoulder to be closed from 10 p.m.-5 a.m. today through Thursday for curb, gutter and sidewalk work. Northbound motorists can expect the No. 2 lane and right shoulder to be closed from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. today through Thursday for curb, gutter and sidewalk work.

State Route 49: From Marysville Road to the Yuba Pass Summit, motorists can expect one-way traffic control at various locations from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. today through Thursday for miscellane­ous maintenanc­e work.

State Route 70: Between Mayer Road and Ellis Road, motorists can expect the right shoulder to be closed from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. today through Friday for utility work. motorists can expect one-way traffic control at various times and locations from 7 a.m-6 p.m. today through Friday for drainage.

State Route 99: Between Franklin Road and the Onstott frontage road, north- and southbound motorists can expect the right shoulder and median to be closed from 8:30 p.m.6 a.m. today through Thursday for utility work.

State Routes 20/45: Utility relocation work continues in advance of a $13.5 million project by Caltrans, the City of Colusa and Colusa County to replace the old pavement, flatten the roadway, construct new sidewalks, curbs and gutters and improve drainage between Market Street and Buena Vista Drive. Roadway constructi­on is expected to start in 2019.

State Route 20/45: Between the intersecti­on of Market and Bridge streets and Country Club Drive, motorists can expect various lan restrictio­ns from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. today through Friday for utility work.

State Route 45: Between Brown Road and Harbison Road, northbound motorists can expect the right shoulder to be closed from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. today through Friday for utility work. Main number .................... Steve Miller ......................
