Yuba College volleyball has continued to face its toughest opponents as their season draws closer to its end.

The 49ers lost in three straight sets on Friday to Solano on the road with set scores of 15-25, 26-28 and 11-25.

Despite the loss the team was led by Heather Harness with 11 kills and three digs as well as Arrianna Salcido with five kills and three blocks.

Connar Lopez also contributed with 12 digs.

The losses to Marin and Los Medanos last week pushed the 49ers out of the top three in the Bay Valley conference and with last night’s loss they don’t have a chance to move back up out of fourth place.

Yuba College (6-11, 5-5) hosts Mendocino College, who is in fifth place behind the 49ers.
