Naomi Ricca-gomes, 34, of Magalia, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 4:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of North Beale Road on suspicion of driving a car without consent. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

20, of the 1700 block of Ellis Lake Drive, Marysville, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 4 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Poole Boulevard on suspicion of evading a peace officer and fleeing an officer. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

Jordan J. Mitchell, 18, of the 1300 block of H Street, Marysville, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 11:10 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Melton Drive on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

Gabino J. Valenzuela, 21, of the 600 block of Ainsley Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 5:45 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Nautilus Court on suspicion of evading police. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

Mauricio Camacho, 25, of the 5600 block of Arboga Road, Olivehurst, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 2:42 a.m. Saturday on North Beale Road on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaught­er while intoxicate­d, hit and run and driving under the influence. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

Christophe­r M. Chissie, 36, homeless was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office at 6 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Highway 20 on suspicion of burglary. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

DUI ARRESTS

Antonio B. Bustamante, 57, of the 11000 block of Township Road, Browns Valley, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 7:02 p.m. Sunday on Spring Valley Road. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

Jeffrey C. Simino, 27, of the 400 block of South Barrett Road, Yuba City, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 2:17 a.m. Sunday on Fifth Street. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

Colton J. Belmont, 27, of Orangevale, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol Sunday at Pleasant Grove Road. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

Armando L. Clayton, 19, of the 1500 block of Sixth Street, Olivehurst, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 3:55 a.m. Saturday on Seventh Street. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

Sutter County Board of Supervisor­s will meet at 3 p.m. at Sutter County Hall of Records, 466 Second St., Yuba City.

The Yuba City City Council will meet for its regular meeting at 6 p.m. at 1201 Civic Center Blvd., Yuba City.

A Yuba City woman and Roseville man died in a collision on Riego Road.

An unidentifi­ed 47-yearold Yuba City woman was driving her Hyundai east on Riego Road, east of Highway 99, on Sunday at around 4:43 p.m., according to a California Highway Patrol press release. Her vehicle drifted onto the right shoulder of the road and abruptly veered back to the left into the westbound lane, veered back onto the right shoulder and veered back into the westbound lane into the path of a Ford driven by Brycen Benedict, 18, of Oroville.

The front of the Hyundai collided with the front of Benedict’s vehicle.

A Toyota, driven by an unidentifi­ed 53-year-old Roseville man, which was behind the Hyundai before the initial collision, then struck the woman’s vehicle.

Both the Hyundai and Toyota sustained major damage, according to the press release, and came to a rest blocking both lanes of Riego Road.

Benedict’s vehicle, which also sustained major damage, came to a rest on the right shoulder of the westbound lane of the road.

The driver of the Hyundai and the driver of the Toyota were pronounced dead at the scene by fire personnel.

Benedict was transporte­d to Rideout Medical Center with minor injuries.
