Bear River defeats Lindhurst girls 46-39

Yuba College baseball bests West Valley 11-9

The Lindhurst Blazers girls basketball team fell to Bear River on Wednesday night when they lost by a final score of 46-39.

Leading the way for Lindhurst was Danika Martin with 16 points as well as Jadelyn English with 11 points.

Also contributing was Makaili Pepper with 11 rebounds.

Lindhurst finished the regular season with a record of (4-18, 3-7).

Center 57, Marysville 26 In Marysville – The Indians suffered a tough loss on Wednesday night as they fell to Center by a 31-point margin.

Despite the tough loss, Kamaria Richardson tallied a total of six points and eight rebounds while Ashlynn Adams was able to record 12 points.

Meanwhile, the junior varsity team only lost by three points, as they fell to Center by a final score of 34-31.

Leading the junior varsity team in scoring was Katen Johnson with 13 points and Briana Campos with four points.

Both the Marysville junior varsity and varsity girls teams will not qualify for postseason play.

Antelope 72, River Valley 45 In Yuba City – The Falcons girls basketball team finished out their regular season on Thursday night when they fell to Antelope at home.

Fresh off of recovering from an injury, Jersey Lee led the Falcons with 12 points and four rebounds.

Also pitching in on the offensive stat line were Izzy Tinoco with 12 points and Jasmine Gill with 11 points and six rebounds.

River Valley (13-4, 4-8) will await to hear about postseason opportunities on Saturday. BOYS BASKETBALL

GIRLS SOCCER Sutter 3, Gridley 1 At Gridley – The Huskies girls soccer team came away with a solid two goal margin victory on Thursday as they took down their rival; the bulldogs.

Sutter was led by Clarissa Carlos who tallied two goals on the outing. Also contributing towards the win were Dara Schmidt with one goal and goalie Clarice Serrano with two saves.

As for Gridley scoring the lone goal for the Bulldogs was Samantha Corona.
