Third Sunday – JAZZ JAM. Musicians looking for a place to jam with other like-minded players, are encouraged to participate in the Third Sunday – JAZZ JAM. The Community Memorial Museum of Sutter County, Marysville Japanese American Citizens League and Yuba College Crossing Borders Building Bridges commemorate the Day of Remembrance 2019. Video “The Art of Gaman” with origami demonstration by Michelle Greer of Colusa. Greer was taught the art by her step-father, Ken Kagehiro who had learned it from his grandmother while a child at Amache Internment Camp. Followed by the video “Camp Amache.” Annie Danis of UC Berkeley will introduce a short creative film that intersperses historic home movies from Amache with films shot this summer by the Amache archaeology crews followed by a feedback session. The U.S. Post Office will be on hand with a third special cancellation. The event will be from noon-5 p.m. at Ettl Hall, Community Memorial Museum of Sutter County, 1333 Butte House Road, Yuba City.
