Marysville defeats Foothill, 11-0
Lindhurst tennis bests Center, 6-3
The Marysville baseball team took a trip down to Sacramento on Tuesday when they faced off with Foothill. The Indians offense would not be denied as they won by an 11 point margin.
Some standout performances for the Indians included Tanner Misquez, who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Cole Tyler, who went 2-for-2 with an RBI and Julian Partida who hit two RBI.
Pitcher C.D. Portillo earned the win on the mound after only allowing two hits.
Marysville baseball (3-2) will host Center today.
TENNIS Lindhurst 6, Center 3 In Olivehurst – The Blazers defeated Center on Tuesday by a three-point margin.
Lindhurst saw multiple winners in the match, some notable finishes included the boys doubles team of Isaac Acosta and Peter Her (6-2, 6-0). On the girls side, Kristin Vang won 6-3, 6-1 while Andrea Ayala won 6-2, 6-4.
Lindhurst tennis improved its record to 3-0 in league.
Colfax 6, Marysville 3
In Colfax – The Indians tennis team suffered its second loss of the season on Tuesday to Colfax by a three point margin.
Despite the loss, Marysville saw great results from a few players that included: David Feceu and Ethan Bland (6-3, 1-6, 11-9) as well as Seth Rice and Crystal Xiong (6-4, 6-2).
Marysville tennis (0-2) will play Bear River today at 4 p.m.
Sutter 8, Colusa 1 In Sutter – The Huskies made a resounding defeat of the Redhawks on Tuesday at they topped them by a seven-point margin.
Notable performances in singles came from Theo Bravos (6-0, 6-1), Hayden Flannery (6-0, 6-1) and Jacob Harris (6-2, 6-1).
In doubles, the team of Ethan Batatan and Korbin Noraas won 8-4.
Sutter tennis will play today in Orland.
GOLF Marysville 286, Center 269 At Cherry Island Golf Course – The Indians golf team lost by 17 points on Tuesday to Center.
Despite the tough turn out for Marysville, Rex Rollins was able to lead the Indians when he shot a 43 on the day.
Marsyviille golf currently sits with a PVL record of 0-2.
