Trump slams George Conway as ‘stone cold LOSER’ and ‘husband from hell’
President Donald Trump on Wednesday blasted George Conway as a “stone cold LOSER” and “husband from hell,” the latest in a string of attacks amid an ongoing feud with the spouse of one of his top aides.
“George Conway, often referred to as Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is VERY jealous of his wife’s success & angry that I, with her help, didn’t give him the job he so desperately wanted,” Trump tweeted.
“I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!”
Conway shot back with a succinct response just minutes later: “The President of the United States.”
The latest back and forth comes a day after the president branded Conway a “total loser” in response to a tweet from his 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale, who claimed the 55-year-old attorney was envious of his wife’s success at the White House.
“He barely worked for the @Justicedept and was either fired/quit, didn’t want the scrutiny?” Parscale wrote on Monday. “Now he hurts his wife because he is jealous of her success. POTUS doesn’t even know him!”
Conway, well known on Twitter for his constant criticisms of Trump, over the weekend suggested the president’s mental health was in decline.
“His condition is getting worse,” Conway wrote in response to a massive tweet storm from the president, who attacked the media, “SNL” the late Sen. John Mccain and the range of investigations into his administration and Russian interference into the 2016 election.
He followed up on Monday, suggesting Trump has at least two diagnosable personality disorders.
In a tweet, Conway shared the cover of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders as well as the pages on narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder.
When the president finally did tweet back at his barbs, he wrote: “Congratulations! You just guaranteed that millions of people are going to learn about narcissistic personality disorder and malignant narcissism!”
Kellyanne Conway has said she disagrees with her husband’s assessment of the president and his mental health.
“No, I don’t share those concerns,” she told reporters on Monday.
