Franklin School

The 2019-20 school year for Franklin School will begin on Monday August 19th. We hope you have enjoyed your Summer.

Back to School Night will be in the evening of the 21st. To accommodate families with more than one student the schedule will be; Grades 1-4 two sessions 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. and 6- 6:30 p.m., and 5th - 8th grade sessions will be from 6:30- 7 p.m. and 7-7:30 p.m..

Tierra Buena

Welcome back for the 2019-20 school year. The first day of school will be Tuesday, August 13th.

Back to School Night for the Sixth grade students and parents will be Monday, August 12th, from 6-7 p.m. The teachers will be there with introductions, a preview of the school year, and expectations of students entering middle school grades. The sixth grade teachers this year are Pattie Keene, Ken Kennedy and Conrad Nystrom.

Back to School Night for the other grade levels will be on August 22nd. More information will be coming soon.

In addition to our wonderful north gym there have been many changes for this school year. We have several new staff members, the Sutter County program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students will be housed at Tierra Buena, several classrooms and other facilities have been moved or renovated, and our playground, which suffered some, with the construction of the North Gym, has begun to be restored.

Twin Rivers Charter School

On Tuesday the Third and Fourth grade students in the classes of Katie Peacock, Sandeep Athwal, Haley Morrison and Wendy Wilder will take a trip to Rancho Cortez.

Wednesday will be a big day at Twin Rivers Charter School. As part of the Junior Achievement program middle school parents and community volunteers will make presentations to our middle school students.

Also in the evening will be our annual Open House and the 15 year anniversary celebration of Twin Rivers Charter School.

On Thursday evening we will have our Track and Field Awards Night from 5-6 p.m.
