Irma Mendoza

Her journey began June 6, 1957, in Chihuahua, Districto Bravo, Mexico. Her family settled i n Woodland, California. Where Irma attended Woodland High School. There she met Martel Mendoza Sr., the love of her life of 43 years.

She was a devoted wife to Martel and a loving mother to Monica, Lupe, Martel Jr. and Laura. Irma was an amazing home-maker. As the Matriarch she never missed an opportunity to serve her loved ones.

Irma illuminated kindness, selflessness, and authentic love to those who were privileged to have met her. As a life long Yuba/sutter resident Irma was an active member of her community. She worked locally as a Agricultural Inspector for nearly two decades.

Enjoying travel and fashion with her family were her favorite pastimes. She will be remembered for her beautiful radiant smile, fierce style, and spontaneity.

She is preceded i n death by her father, Guadalupe Roman Jr. (11/23/91); mother, Herminia Raquel Roman (02/19/14); beloved grandpet, Mimi Mendoza-robinson (10/16/20).

Irma is survived by her spouse, Martel Mendoza Sr. of Olivehurst; children, Monica Roman, Guadalupe Mendoza Lara (Jimmy Lara), Martel Mendoza Jr. (Lupita Huerta), Laura Mendoza (Jeremy Robinson) of San Diego; grandchildren, Miklo Valle, Maribel Gonzalez, Alejandro Lara, Martel Mendoza III, Enrique Lara, Nikolas Lara, Loren Lara, Alexyah R. Lara, Ricardo Ramos, Mibella Mendoza, Matias Mendoza; great grandchild, Ximena Valle; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, compadres, godchildren, and many dear friends.

Private services: Thursday, January 14, 2021, 4-6 p.m. at Lipp and Sullivan, Marysville, CA 95901.

Holy Rosary and Mass: Friday, January 15, 2021, 10:00 a.m. St. Joseph Catholic Church School Courtyard Marysville, CA 95901.

Ceremony: St. Joseph Cemetery, Woodland, CA 95695.

She was called home on January 5, 2021. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure.
