Adventist Health and Rideout welcomes ear, nose and throat specialist
Adventist Health and Rideout is proud to welcome Andrew Ribner, MD, to its provider team. Dr. Ribner is a highly sought-after boardcertified otolaryngologist who enjoys helping his patients find relief from painful or troublesome conditions affecting their ears, nose and throat (ENT).
“Often, patients come to me after years of discomfort from nasal obstructions, allergies, chronic sinusitis and obstructive sleep apnea among other conditions,” says Dr. Ribner. “It is my privilege to offer them relief using the most minimally-invasive treatment options available.”
At New York University Medical Center/bellevue Hospital, Dr. Ribner completed residencies in general surgery and otolaryngology. With fellowships in both head and neck surgery at Beth Israel Medical
Center in New York City and in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Stanford Medical Center/ Palo Alto VA Medical Center, Dr. Ribner brings extensive expertise in the care of otolaryngology problems for patients of all ages to serve the Yuba-sutter region.
An otolaryngologist helps patients find relief from a variety of health concerns including nasal fractures, head and neck tumors, hearing problems, as well as tonsil and adenoid problems. Dr. Ribner performs a minimally invasive procedure to correct excessive rhinorrhea (runny nose) and nasal valve collapse which contributes to nasal obstruction. In addition, he uses a multilevel approach to correct obstructive sleep apnea.
“Adventist Health and Rideout is proud to bring this essential service to our community,” says Rick Rawson, Adventist Health and Rideout president. “Dr. Ribner is an exceptional physician and brings decades of experience to our provider team.”
