Ernest “Ernie” Leroy Wood; age 87, of Yuba City, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021, at Rideout Hospital i n Marysville. He was born June 26, 1933, in Norman, Oklahoma, to Ernest and Mary (Harris) Wood.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Keitha Wood of Yuba City; son, Stephen L. Wood (Beth) of Anderson; daughter, Marci Morris (Melvin) of Yuba City; 4 grandsons, Stephen C. Wood (Amy) of Olivehurst; Justin Wood (Sue) of Barstow; Tanner and Trayce Wood of Anderson; 1 granddaugh­ter, Jessica Morris Scott (David) of Elk Grove; 3 great-granddaugh­ters, Sarah Wood of Barstow, Audrey and Paige Wood of Olivehurst; 2 greatgrand­sons, Stephen M. Wood of Barstow, and El i j a h S c o t t o f El k Grove; 2 brothers, Kenneth “Ken” Wood (Georgia) of Yuba City, and Gerald “Jerry” Wood (Michelle) of Windsor; and many loved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded i n death by his parents, Ernest and Mary Wood; grandson, Joshua Morris; 3 sisters, Alline Hoyer, Anna Faye and Louella Wood; 3 brothers, Sherman, Vernon, and Mac Wood.

He graduated from Marysville High School and attended Yuba College before being drafted into the US Army where he served during the Korean War. After his military service he worked for PT&T (Pacific Telephone & Telegraph) before working and retiring from Caltrans as District Electrical/traffic Engineer after 39 years. He attended Calvary Christian Center and was a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, April 9, 2021, at 12:00 pm at Sierra View Mortuary and Memorial Park, 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Heart Associatio­n or Alzheimer’s Associatio­n.

August 8, 1935 to March 27, 2021 Long time Live Oak resident, Glenn Lucille Mills, passed peacefully at Rideout Hospital March 27, 2021. She was born to Walter and Christine Onstine August 10, 1935, in Biggs, CA.

Glenn grew up at the Ons t i n e R a n c h o n Hedger Rd., Live Oak, CA, and graduated from Live Oak High School in 1953. There she met the love of her life, Arley Mills, and they were married July 18, 1953.

Glenn was a very strong woman, was always involved, never met a stranger, and always wanted to give. She worked picking walnuts and prunes, working on a almond hauler and drove rice truck, before working for the US Postal service 18 years. She then opened her own beauty shop until retiring.

She organized many class reunions, sat on the Live Oak Planning Commission, and bowled in the Yuba City Reno League. She loved playing pinnacle or to go dancing with friends.

She kept score at many baseball games and was her kids and grandkids biggest fan during many sports events. She hosted many BBQ'S for t he Live Oak Football Team and was known for a great BBQ sauce.

As a child Glenn's family vacationed at Philbrook Lake and she gave her family that love. Her and Arley spent many years in retirement vacationin­g above Philbrook Lake. In 1996, they realized their dream by building a family cabin at Jones Meadows and spent many summers enjoying their family and friends there.

Glenn is survived by her husband, Arley; daughter, Pam Clark (Dave); sons, Duane (Pearl) Mills, Russell Mi l l s a n d B r a d l e y (Mary) Mills. She is also survived by ten grandchild­ren, Nicole (Jason) Sawatzky, Brian (Julie) Clark, William (Alesha) Mil l s , Kyl e (Saber) Mil l s , Br i a n n a ( J R) Gould, Kristen Mills (David Gray), Tandi (Hector) De La Fuente, Jeremy (Emily) Mills, Zachery (Jamie) Mills, and Meaghan Mills; and 19 great-grandchild­ren.

Graveside services will be held at Live Oak Cemetery, April 16, 2021, at 11:00am.

Jon Nicol Warren, passed away March 29, 2021. He was born June 28, 1962, in Glendora, CA, to Floyd and Lola Warren and was the second oldest of 8 children.

He graduated from Quincy Jr. Sr. High School and served a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Rome, Italy. Jon attended Brigham Young University then began building his entreprene­urial skills through various business ventures. He establishe­d and operated a successful environmen­tal company for the past 25 years.

From a young age, Jon participat­ed in many different sports and developed a passion for music. He had a beautiful voice and enjoyed sharing his musical talents with others. Jon understood t he value of hard work and instilled these values in his children through his example. He had a kind and giving heart and often looked for ways to serve others in his community.

Jon is survived by Lola Warren, his mother; three brothers and four sisters; Laurie Warren, his wife of 30 years; and their children, Tara and Aaron West, Jon Bird, Cortney and Denton Scott, Ashley and John Veile, Alexa Warren, Jordan and Alyssa Warren, Chelsea and Dakota McConnell, Codie and Jeff Moser, as well as their 20 grandchild­ren.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jon’s life at Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City, CA, on Monday, April 5, 2021, from 4 to 7 pm for a viewing and on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Gridley-biggs Cemetery in Gridley for a graveside service at 10 am. There will be a celebratio­n of life following at 12:30 pm at 224 Mccat o n Dr i v e in Bangor.

The voice of an angel left us on March 21, 2021. Rosemary was born in Marysville, CA, on June 14, 1940. She was an entertaine­r and care provider most of her life.

She is survived by her three children, Gloria Stuart of Marysville, Debbie Mocerino of Las Vegas and Fred Brown of Olivehurst; 6 g r a ndkids; 9 g r e a t - grandkids; and 2 greatgreat-grandkids; as well as her brother, Tom Miller; and sister, Dianna Miller-trainer; with many nieces and nephews. She i s preceded in death by her son, John Brown; and granddaugh­ter, Jennifer Norris.

Our family chain has been broken and nothing will seem the same. But, as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

The family will have a memorial at a later date.
