Lisa Marie Sanders

Lisa Marie Sanders passed away peacefully on September 18, 2021 with her sister and niece by her side. Lisa was born in Yuba City on November 29, 1973. She moved to Wheatland in 1982 and graduated from Wheatland High School in 1992. While in high school she worked for Head Start as a para educator. After graduating high school she enrolled in Sacramento Job Corp to pursue a career in carpentry. After completing the program she moved back to Wheatland and attended Yuba College to complete her Early Childhood Education studies.

Lisa enjoyed spending time in Monterey and Fort Bragg as well as thrift store shopping with her mother. Her greatest joy however was spending time with her children Michael, Ava, Tony, Cesar and her granddaughters Abigail and Rebecca. Lisa was proud of her children and even more proud to be a grandmother.

Lisa is also survived by her mother Gloria, sister Lena, brother Victor, nieces Mikkayla and Suzi and nephew Alex, her grandmother and grandfather as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Word Of Life Church, 1229 Buchanan Street in Marysville at 2 pm.

Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, Robert Vaughn “aka Big Bob”, has passed away on November 18th, 2021, in Live Oak, California. Bob was born May 1st, 1962, in Yuba City, California. Bob was a Heavy Equipment Operator and enjoyed boating out on the lake. He was a resident of Live Oak most of his life.

Bob is survived by his wife, Pamela, of 35 years; his son, Robert Jr. (Kayla); his daughter, Nicole (Alex); grandchildren: Rayden, Zachary, Zoey, Xander, and Zarah; his mother, Mary; sisters, Earline, and Marilyn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Earl.

A public viewing will be held on November 24th, 2021, from 3:006:00 pm, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel at 817 Almond St., Yuba City, California. A celebration of life will be held at 9944 Hedger Rd., Live Oak, California, on November 27th, 2021, at 2:00pm.

Jasbir Kaur Cheema, 80, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2021, surrounded by her family.

Jasbir was born on March 17, 1941, in the village of Athouli, District Jalandhar, Punjab, India. She, along with her husband, daughter, and two sons, migrated to Yuba City, California in 1982. She was a resident of Yuba City for 39 years.

Jasbir was wife of late J o g i nder S i ngh Pardesi Cheema. She was daughter of late Charan Singh Ghag and late Gurbachan Kaur. Jasbir was the oldest of six children. She is survived by her sons, Mandhir Singh Cheema and Jasbir Singh Cheema; daughter, Darshan Kaur; and four grandchildren, Sonia, J e s s y , Ga v i n , a n d C a mer o n .

Jasbir was determined to give her family a better life, in which she succeeded. She spent her early years working tough labor jobs, and later devoted her time to her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending quality time with her f r i e nds a nd f a mil y . Those that knew her, knew of her generous, loving heart that touched t he lives of many. She always was willing to help others in any way possible. She will be remembered for the positive impact she had on those around her. She was loved for her humor and lived an honorable life. Jasbir Kaur Cheema was the matriarch of our family and will be missed dearly.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 24th, 2021, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond Street, Yuba City, CA. Prayer services will follow at the Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Temple Bogue Road, 2269 Bogue Rd., Yuba City, CA.
