Teressa “Teri” Ellen Higgins, 58 of Browns Valley, CA, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024.

Teri was born on November 4, 1965, in La Moore, CA, to James “Jim” and Jewel “Ellen“Pancrazio.

She is proceeded in death by her mother, Ellen Pancrazio; and brother, William “Billy” Pancrazio.

She leaves behind her father, and step mother Jim and Dixie Pancrazio of Stockton, CA; three brothers, James “Jimmy” (Erin) Pancrazio of Stockton, CA; Jerry and Larry Rymer, of Yuba City, CA.

She also leaves behind her beloved husband, Adam Higgins of Browns Valley, CA; two daughters, Megan Vazquez of Browns Valley, CA, and Jessica Higgins of Marysville, CA; and four grandchild­ren, Anthony, Amelia, Estrella and Jonathan; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Teri had a strong faith in God and loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

There will be a celebratio­n of life held at the Church of Glad Tidings in Yuba City, CA, on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11am. Food and refreshmen­ts to follow.

Jean “Jeannie” Marie Scott Kalfsbeek of Arbuckle, CA, died on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in Woodland, CA, with her husband by her side. She was 73.

Jeannie was born on August 9, 1950, in Clay Center, KS, to Bill and Ione Gilbert. She grew up on the family farm in Clifton, NJ, attended local schools and graduated from Clifton High School in 1968.

After moving to California and becoming an enrolled agent, Jeannie worked as an accountant with Croce and Company Accountanc­y Corporatio­n in Stockton for 43 years prior to retiring in 2020. She specialize­d in estate and trust tax law.

Jeannie circled back to her farming roots when she was introduced at a Thanksgivi­ng reunion by her friend and colleague, Jane, to the love of her life, Knute Kalfsbeek. Little did she know she’d be attending these family gatherings for the next three decades as a family member.

Knute and Jeannie shared 27 years together and lived in Arbuckle, CA.

They loved riding around in the hills, lunches with friends, an occasional glass of wine and road trips. It was on one of these road trips 16-years-ago that the couple spontaneou­sly found themselves in Reno, NV, and decided to finally “make it official.” They married on March 15, 2008.

Jeannie loved all animals, especially her beloved black labs Mickey and Ditto.

Jeannie is survived by her husband, Knute Kalfsbeek; stepdaught­ers, Daurice Kalfsbeek Smith (Andy), Becky Kalfsbeek Cowan (Kent), Julie Kalfsbeek Cleary (Mike); grandchild­ren, Cole, Cade, Karleigh, Heath, Reese, Kaitlynn, Ally, Brooke, Morgan; siblings, Robert Gilbert (Trudy) of Belleville, KS, and Margie Anderson of Concordia, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A viewing is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Mcnary-moore Funeral Chapel, 107 Fifth St., Colusa, CA.

A graveside service and interment will take place at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, at Johns School Road Cemetery, 374 Johns School Rd., Arbuckle, CA. A celebratio­n of Jeannie’s life will follow at the Arbuckle Fire Hall, 506 Lucas St.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in Jeannie’s name be made to the Arbuckle Fire Department or Friends of the Colusa County Animal Shelter.

Daryl David Munzer, M.D. was born in La Mesa, CA, on March 15, 1956. Son of Catherine Veronica Munzer and Milo Max Munzer.

Daryl met his wife, Joyce, almost 40 years ago while he was a medical student at U.C.L.A. He was on a clinical rotation and she was a nurse at the primary office. They were wed on May 5, 1984, and started their married life in San Bernardino, CA, where Daryl completed his medical residency and where they became parents to Claire Marie (Yu).

Subsequent­ly, they moved to San Luis Obispo, CA, to begin his career and had their son, Jeffrey Allen Munzer. In December of 1989, Daryl and his family moved to Yuba City, CA, where their youngest daughter, Vivienne Noelle (Rus) would be born. Joyce and Daryl would remain together in the home that their children grew up in and would travel often until his sudden passing on March 21, 2024.

Daryl’s greatest joys in life was spending time with his family and helping those in his community. Daryl practiced medicine for over 34 years in the Yuba Sutter area and was passionate about helping his patients. He was a beloved doctor, husband, father, and grandfathe­r.

He leaves behind his wife; three children and their spouses; his grandchild­ren, Gwen and Casey; and a large extended family. He will be missed tremendous­ly.

Daryl’s service will be on March 27, 2024, at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Service will be officiated by Father Leon Juchniewic­z. Reception to follow immediatel­y.
