DEEPDREAM

http://deepdreamgenerator.com

Neural networks see all sorts of weird patterns in images, like the way we see faces in clouds. DeepDream uses algorithmic pareidolia to bring these to life—a vivid and psychedelic one. As an image is processed multiple times, strange things appear, as previously unseen patterns are drawn out. Bizarre.

MITSUKU http://pandorabots.com/ mitsuku

This chatbot has won the Loebner Prize Turing Test three times. She can chat on a number of platforms, including Messenger, Twitch, and Telegram, or just plain web chat. Fun for a while, although you don’t have to stray far to confuse her.

MICROSOFT CAPTIONBOT

www.captionbot.ai

Upload an image and this bot writes a caption for you. This one has been around for a while, so it should have had a good bit of training. It’s still generally only average, though—you won’t have to try too hard to fool it. When launched, its inaccuracy, and comical guesswork lead to a slew of pranks.

IMAGE-TO-IMAGE

http://affinelayer.com/pixsrv/

This takes your crude attempts at drawing cats, buildings, shoes, or handbags, and through the magic of a trained machine learning engine, generates artificial photographic images of the results, which range from creepy to pretty good, especially the buildings. The better your drawing, the better the result.
