Smart In Concert At Banner Church
Nashville recording guitarist and three-time Kansas City Christian Instrumentalist of the Year Charles David Smart will be in concert at Banner Church of the Nazarene at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 26.
Smart is from Olathe, Kan.
There is no charge for the concert, but an offering will be taken.
Banner Church is located at 597 North Fork Road, Anderson, Mo.

Dave’s Joy for Jesus has led him to perform throughout the USA, Canada and Europe, sharing the platform with internationally renown artists including contemporary Christian artists Gospel Music Association and Dove Award recipients Phillips, Craig and Dean; First Call; NewSong; Larnel Harris; Country Music Association Country Music Hall of Fame member Roy Clark; and jazz legends Pat Methany and Clark Terry.
As an active composer/ songwriter, David has premiered works for sanctuary choirs, children‘s groups, instrumental ensembles, and soloists. David has taught leading guitarists worldwide with MidAmerica Nazarene University and Kansas City Kansas Community College.
David and his wife are very active with the Olathe Westside Church (Kansas City) where they directly participate in many areas of family ministry. Their three sons are young adults serving in other ministries nationwide.
