‘He Touched Me’ Rally

-

An exciting “He Touched Me” Rally, featuring Dr. Cecil Todd, Founder and President of the Revival Fires Ministry, is coming to the First Baptist Church Sunday, July 10, for the morning service starting at 10:30, according to Dr. Ron Adrian, the church’s interim pastor.

“The purpose of this Rally,” says Dr. Adrian, “is to bring hope and encouragement to people who have cancer or who are facing difficult decisions regarding their health or other challenges. This new emphasis by Dr. Todd is a result of his recent bout with stage 4 cancer.”

“In October of last year, I didn’t think I would live ‘til Christmas,” says Dr. Todd. “My body was racked with terrible pain, but in January my cancer doctor said, ‘YOUR CANCER IS GONE!’ I believe prayer had a strong role in my miracle. That’s why I will be praying for everyone in attendance at this special rally who has cancer or who had it at one time. What Jesus did for me, I believe He can do for others.” Dr. Todd is scheduled to tell his full story at this upcoming special service.

Dr. Todd is best known for his nationwide TV program “Revival Fires,” for recently providing 250,000 Bibles for troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan at the request of the Chief of Chaplains at the Pentagon and for his huge Revival Fires camp meetings at Branson’s 4,000-seat Grand Palace Theater. Over 20,000 attended from across American during a recent fourday celebration.

First Baptist Church in Anderson invites everyone who can to attend this special “He Touched Me” Rally with Dr. Cecil Todd, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 10.

Gospel soloist Gail Todd Stallman will also be featured at the Rally, and a fellowship dinner will follow.
