Arrangemen­ts are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson. She was a member of Bethlehem Church in Bethlehem, Mo.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Pam DeSpain Channel; a granddaugh­ter, Cassadi Rippen; two brothers, Dale and J.R. Marney; and one sister, Betty Haufler.

She is survived by five daughters, Marti DeSpain and partner Lori of Scottsdale, Ariz., Nema McCullah of Wheaton, Renee Christman and husband Rick of Stella, Mo., Christi Rippen and husband Jeff of Decatur, Ala., and Trish Stephens and husband Lance of Rocky Comfort; son, Jim DeSpain Jr. and wife Katrina of Hawthorne, Calif.; brother, John Marney and wife Jean of Exeter, Mo.; 10 grandchild­ren, Joel Haynes, Tiffany Hale, Lindsay Johnson, Reece Steele, Jim DeSpain III, Brandon Tichenor, Nash Rippen, Vanessa Banks, Logan Moore and Toby Moore; 11 great-grandchild­ren; several step-grandchild­ren and step-great-grandchild­ren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Bethlehem Church under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Nolan McNeill Jr., Brother Hap Anders and Brother Scott Mitchell conducted the services.

Burial followed at Rocky Comfort Cemetery at Rocky Comfort.

The family received friends Friday, July 15, in McQueen Funeral Home.
