County Commission Minutes

July 6

• The Commission visited Easy Street and Elk Springs Road, near Noel. They also inspected work on the Road Barn along Highway 90.

July 11

• The Commission met with John Sellers, Mayor of Anderson, to discuss the city limits.

• Calvin Dillow discussed the condition of Park Valley Court Road near Anderson.

• The Commission visited Blackhawk Road near Anderson and Oak Ridge Road near Pineville.

July 18

• The Commission closed the open session to go into a Board of Equalization meeting. The board addressed an appeal made by David Leo Warren. Members discussed a compromise and voted to forward the proposal to Warren.

July 20

• Bill Rutherford with CRA Architects met with the Commission to discuss the jail renovation project. Lee Ann Mullins and Tony Pardew were also in attendance.

• Rick Freeman with Tele Coin met with the Commission to discuss jail phone systems that would facilitate video visitations.

• The Commission signed and approved accounts payable checks in the amount of $47,384.82.
