May 20, 2016 Aug. 24, 2016 Aroura Lynn Chavez, 3-month old infant daughter of Matthew Chavez and Jessica Hare of Goodman, Mo., entered this life on May 20, 2016, in Siloam Springs, Ark. She passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday morning, Aug. 24, 2016.

She is survived by her parents, Matthew Chavez and Jessica Hare; her twin brother, Kalen Chavez; maternal grandparen­ts Frances and John Hare of Goodman, Mo.; paternal grandparen­ts Elena and Patrick Tyree of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; maternal grandmothe­rs Janette Brown of Texas and Delores McNutt of Tennessee; paternal great-grandmothe­r Robin Garza of Bentonvill­e; two aunts, Angela Fagan and Elizabeth Chavez; two uncles, Michael Hare and Aaron Tyree; as well as a host of other family.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at Oakwood Cemetery near Neosho, Mo., with Pastor Bob Holloway officiatin­g.

Arrangemen­ts are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo. N.J., one of three children born to the late Raymond Lewis and Gladys May Sharp. Her formative years were spent in Trenton, N.J.

On May 7, 1959, she was united in marriage to Thomas H. Ernest Sr., and to this union five children were born. Being the wife of a Marine, the family made their home in various parts of the United States before moving to Goodman, Mo., in 1969. For over 16 years she was employed by Tyson Foods in Neosho, retiring in 1994. She enjoyed playing solitaire, gardening, canning, being outdoors, visiting with her neighbors and caring for the elderly. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Ernest Sr., on Jan. 1, 1982; and one brother, Jubie Sharp.

She is survived by her five children, Doris Turney and husband Everett of Monett, Mo., Donna Lee of Reeds, Mo., Brenda Pogue and husband Tom of Goodman, Tommy Ernest Jr. of Neosho and Rex Ernest and wife Becky of Anderson; 16 grandchild­ren; 28 great-grandchild­ren; two great-great grandchild­ren; a sister, Gladys Smith of New Jersey; as well as a host of other family and friends.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Howard Cemetery in Goodman with Bro. Kenji Harrington officiatin­g.

Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearer­s are Raymond Brownfield, Brian Pogue, Clifton Pogue, Mike Leak, Jake Leak and Cody Ernest. Robert Lee, Rex Ernest Jr., Levi Lee and Skyler Ernest will serve as honorary pallbearer­s.

Memorials are being directed to the Make a Wish Foundation, and contributi­ons may be left at the funeral home.
