Nov. 11, 1971 Aug. 30, 2016 Gloria Ann Flowers, 44, of Anderson, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfiel­d, Mo., after a long battle with cancer. She entered this life on Nov. 11, 1971, in Cortez, Colo., one of two children born to the union of Noble and Segernia Ann Flowers.

She moved with her family to Anderson in 1978 and was a 1990 graduate of McDonald County High School. She furthered her education at WTI in Joplin, receiving her degree in Medical coding in 2011. She enjoyed her employment with TranSoluti­ons, reading, collecting cookbooks and was passionate about her dogs and cats.

She is survived by her mother, Ann Flowers, of Anderson; a brother, Dusty Flowers and wife Barb of Chicago; an aunt, Violet Waschke of Dove Creek, Colo.; special family friend, Lynn Reed, of Poplar Grove, Ill.; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 7, 2016, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Brother Bob Holloway officiated.

The family received friends Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.

James Smith, Herb Smith, Gary Wallain, Burt Parsons, Merle Ottendorf and Steven Law served as honorary pallbearer­s.
