Sept. 23, 1959 Sept. 8, 2016 Bryan Wayne Brodie, 56, of Neosho, Mo., died suddenly Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, in Chanute, Kan., from injuries sustained in a tractor trailer accident.

He entered this life on Sept. 23, 1959, in Neosho, born to the union of Louis James and Judith Ann Brodie. He attended school in Neosho and was a lifelong area resident.

He started his career as a profession­al truck driver at the age of 23, graduating from Crowder College School of Trucking. He drove a truck for the last 34 years and was last employed by Beaver Lake Transport of Springdale, Ark.

He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, playing cards, computer games and visiting with his family and friends. He was a longtime member of the Goodman Methodist Church and a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis James Brodie; and a stepbrothe­r, Robert Lawson.

He is survived by his mother, Judy Lawson and husband Raymond of Neosho; a brother, Jeff Brodie and wife Tina of South Coffeyvill­e, Okla.; two sisters, Kimberly Worster and Donja Woodcock and husband Greg, both of Neosho; three stepsiblin­gs, Charles Lawson and wife
