8th-Grade Volleyball Beats Seneca

The McDonald County eighth grade volleyball team beat Seneca 25-19, 25-9 and Cassville 25-7, 25-11 in a doubleheader held Saturday at Seneca.

The Lady Mustangs’ B team added a 25-19 win over Seneca and a 25-5 win over Cassville.

McDonald Country opened the season with a 25-7, 25-13 win over Joplin East on Sept. 6 at Anderson Middle School. McDonald County won the B game by a 25-10, 25-17 score. Neosho handed McDonald County a three-game loss on Sept. 8 at home. The Lady Mustang B team won in straight sets.

McDonald County traveled to Aurora on Sept. 12 before returning home to host Lamar on Sept. 15.
