Dotson. She was born and raised in Gibbon, Okla., where she also attended school. She had been a resident of McDonald County for the last 82 years.

In November 1948, she was united in marriage to Clinton DeWitt. Ada worked hard her entire life. She was a mother, farmer, seamstress, a grocery store owner and a U.S. Postal clerk. She retired from the postal service in 1980. She enjoyed mowing her yard and spending time in her garden. She was a member of the Buffalo Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Clinton DeWitt; her son, Max Reneau; one brother; and five sisters.

She is survived by her three daughters, Shirley Meadows of Anderson, Faye Reneau of Pineville, and Rhonda Cohn of Frontenac, Kan.; 10 grandchild­ren; several great- and great-great grandchild­ren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Pastor Marilyn O’Brien officiated.

The family received friends Friday morning in the funeral home chapel.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and a brother, John Michael Lane I.

He is survived by his father, David Lawrence Lane and wife Susan of Waco, Texas; siblings, Sharolyn Cook and fiancé Jay Stallsmith of Tulsa, Patrick Wallain and wife Kari of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Matt Wallain and wife Amy of Anderson, Mo.; maternal grandparen­ts, Orville and Helen Bailey of Carl Junction, Mo.; nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at the New Life Church in Anderson with Pastor Tom Ellis officiatin­g.

Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery in Anderson.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. The family received friends at that time.

Funeral services are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson. She was a Sunday School teacher at Temperance Valley Church and was a member of Buffalo Creek Baptist Church. After retiring, she worked on their farm gathering eggs. She, Earl and their daughter, Gale, were members of the McDonald County Territory Trail Riders. They rode in several parades and won several trophies.

She was a loving mother, grandmothe­r, great-grandmothe­r and great-great grandmothe­r.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl William Martin, who passed away two weeks before their 50th wedding anniversar­y; infant son, Steven Earl Martin; and siblings, Calvin Booth of Joplin, Wilbur Booth of Pea Ridge, Ark., Ralph Booth of Neosho; Homer Booth of Anderson, Dorothy Booth of Anderson, and Rhoda Johnson of Bakersfiel­d, Calif.

She is survived by her four daughters, Linda Wilson and husband Bill of Tiff City, Mo., Judy Smith and husband Leslie of Anderson, Diane Wilson of Tiff City, and Gale Clark and husband Jon of Moneta, Va.; brother, Raymond Booth of Crane, Mo.; sister, Louise Beehler of Fairland, Okla.; nine grandchild­ren; several great-grandchild­ren and great-great-grandchild­ren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Pastor Jared Proctor officiated.

Burial followed in the Anderson Cemetery in Anderson. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearer­s were grandsons Gene Smith, Wesley Smith, David Holloway, Shane Wilson, Billy Wilson and great-grandson, Garrett Wilson.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. The family received friends at that time.
