Earlene M. Wilson

May 28, 1930 Oct. 27, 2016 Earlene M. Wilson, 86, of Goodman, Mo., died Oct. 27, 2016, at McDonald County Living Center, following a short illness. She was born May 28, 1930, in Bunker, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Agnes Chrisco.

She was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Southwest City (Mo.) in 1948 as valedictorian of her class. She and Bill Wilson were married July 26, 1947, in Southwest City. She worked beside her husband on the family farm and enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family. She was of the Southern Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Bill Wilson, on May 15, 2011; two sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by children, Kathy Wilson of Goodman and Kevin Wilson and wife Melody of Neosho, Mo.; four grandchildren, Dusty Richmond of Goodman, Jared Richmond and wife Heather of Joplin, Mo., Sean Wilson and wife Hope of Neosho, and Patrick Wilson and wife Crystal of Neosho; 10 great-grandchildren, Aidan, Kaydee, Chase, Cutler, Helayna, Lucas, Evie, Aria, Colt and Freya; a nephew, James Chrisco; two nieces, Dorlene Quick and Katrina Lanhan, all of Bunker; and numerous extended family.

Services were Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Bryan Hartgrave and Dr. Todd Decker officiated.

Interment was in the Howard Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Jared Richmond, Chase Richmond, Ronnie Barclay, Stephen Barclay, Sean Wilson and Patrick Wilson.

The family received friends Monday evening at the funeral home.
