Arrangements are being provided by Flower Mound Funeral Home. Farm, in Anderson. He worked on the bait farm as well as owning his own business repairing industrial machinery and electronic organs.

Five years after moving to Anderson, his last daughter, Sarah, was born. He built the family home when they moved to Anderson, along with two model railroads. While at home, and in his last days in California, he spent his spare time repairing clocks and building model airplanes. He was once described as “the smartest man I’ve ever met, but you would never know by looking at him.” This description fit him perfectly. He was most excited by the opportunity to share his point of view on faith and religious matters. He was well known in the community for this, and his discussions will be missed greatly. He was a man of God and passed that faith down to his family, friends and occasionally bystanders who were eavesdropping.

All of us who have known and loved him will miss his off-color jokes, his infamous red suspenders, his laughter and his spot-on ability to voice a Bible verse, no matter what the circumstance. No matter where you were, he could say something to always lighten the mood. We were all truly blessed by him and will miss him greatly.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Dawn Hiebert; his three daughters, Katherine Hiebert-Brumley; Christina Nichols and husband Cory; Sarah Giberti and husband Eric; five granddaughters, Amber Brumley, Elizabeth McCulley and husband Titus, Stesha Nichols, Kierstan Porter and Emily Porter; three grandsons, Tyler Trudo and wife Brooke, Johnathan Brumley, and Jace Thomas; two great-granddaughters, Lillyanna McCulley and Myla Trudo; numerous other family and friends, including his three step-granddaughters, Ashley (Giberti) Ellis and husband Brandon, Mikayla (Giberti) Stotts and husband Chance, and Shelby (Giberti) Jackson and husband Jonathan, along with three step-great-grandchildren, Logan Ellis, Corbin Ellis and Aubrey Ellis.
