Seneca House in Seneca, Mo. He entered this life on April 6, 1937, in Southwest City to Raymond W. and Ester M. Jones.

On Nov.15, 1957, he was united in marriage to Rosemary Wahleithne­r, and to this union six children were born. He enjoyed working on cars and fishing. He was known as a shade tree mechanic and would help anyone out with their car for no charge.

He was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter and four brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rosemary; three daughters, Sara Harmon and husband Darrell of Cushing, Okla., Debra Forbes and husband Hayes Edward II, of Fairland, Okla., and Sandra Rackley of Neosho, Mo.; a brother, Ivan Jones of Anderson, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Cochran of Anderson and Linda Grohler of Shell Knob, Mo.; 14 grandchild­ren; numerous great-grandchild­ren and great-great-grandchild­ren; and a host of other family and friends.

She moved to Joplin, Mo., in 1969. In 1972, she married George Griffith in Jane, Mo. She has two “bonus” sons from this marriage: Jeff and Steve Griffith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lucille Robertson; two sisters, Lawana (Lee) Francisco Jobe and Alice Mall; and three brothers, Burley Dean Robertson, Bob F. Robertson, and Bill (Bulldog) Robertson.

She is survived by her husband, George Griffith; daughters Lucia Bush of Carthage, Mo., Gayla White and husband, Rick of Bentonvill­e, Ark.; son, Bill Wise Jr. and wife, Rhonda of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; bonus sons, Jeff Griffith of Brewton, Ala., Steve Griffith of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; granddaugh­ters, Casey Shaw and husband John of Rogers, Ark., Kendall Ratcliff and husband Jackson of Little Rock, Ark., Melanie Griffith Pollard and husband Brandon of Ft. Walton Beach, Lacey Garrett and husband David of Tahlequah, Okla.; grandsons, Rodney O’Brien of Joplin, Mo., Ryan Bush of Jane, Mo., Trent Wise and wife Dailey of Waynesvill­e, Mo., Shane Clark and wife Shelley of Bentonvill­e, Ark., Eric Stephens and Matt Stephens of Tahlequah; great-grandchild­ren, Katelyn and Natalie O’Brien, Miles Shaw, Benelli Wise, Kaci Ann and Chase Clark, Keller Stephens, Copper and Zane Garrett; sister, Donna Dickey and husband, Carl Don of Lake Eufaula, Okla. She and George now have 10 grandchild­ren and nine great-grandchild­ren. Many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She was loved and will be missed by all.

Funeral services were held a 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Jane, Mo., with Pastor Rick Haskins officiatin­g. Burial followed in the Jane Cemetery. The family received friends on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
