Jan. 23, 2017 Madeline F. Hall, 84, of Goodman, Mo.,passed away Jan. 23, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo.

She was born March 21, 1932, to Homer and Beulah (Chandler) Rogers in Splitlog, Mo. She grew up in the Splitlog area. On June 11, 1950, she was united in marriage to Charles Hall, and to this union four children were born.

She worked at the Big Smith garment factory as well as owned and operated Big W Restaurant. She was also a chicken farmer. She was a member of the Banner Church of the Nazarene and the Democrat Women’s Club. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; and her three brothers, Jack, Jimmie and George Rogers.

She is survived by a son, Rick Hall and wife Suzanne of Racine, Mo.; three daughters, Janice Childress and husband Doug of Neosho, Mo., Rhonda Whitehill and Randell of Anderson, Mo., and Brenda Hall and Antonio Taylor of Goodman; two grandchild­ren, Gary and Chelse Hall; and a sister-inlaw, Vera Rogers; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, step-grandchild­ren, family and friends.

A memorial service was held Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson. Pastor Dennis Bergen officiated.

Services were under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson.
