MCHS Class Ring Found In Kansas
Somehow, some way, a McDonald County High School class ring made its way to Coffeyville, Kan., where it was recently found.
The hunt is now on for the owner.
Mereda Tucker regularly volunteers to sort and organize donations at her local Church of Christ sharing center.
A few weeks ago, while rifling
through a box of assorted items, she found a diamond in the rough. Well, almost. Tucker stumbled upon a class ring with a sparkling magenta stone belonging to a local alumnus.
“The ring says Steven W. Brown — Class of 1991,” Tucker wrote in an e-mail to the newspaper. “I found a Steven Brown from the class of 1991 but you have to pay to get his address. If you find him, he can contact me.”
A mustang is engraved on one side of the silver band and a football player on the other.
Anyone knowing Steven W. Brown may contact the McDonald County Press at 479- 855-3724 to claim the jewelry and get in contact with Tucker.
