April 22, 2000 Feb. 26, 2017 Lillian Don Wanders, 16, of Anderson, Mo., departed this life suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, from injuries received in an automobile accident. She entered this life on April 22, 2000, in Gravette, Ark., born to the union of James and Ronda Wanders.

She was a lifelong resident of Anderson and was currently in her junior year at McDonald County High School. She enjoyed reading, Facebookin­g, drawing, spending time with friends and was gifted in fingernail artistry. She loved fishing, hiking and bluff climbing with her dad, with whom she also enjoyed shopping trips to the mall.

She had a loving sensitive spirit and couldn’t stand to see anything hurt or suffer. She was exploring career opportunit­ies within the field of fingernail art.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfathe­r, Robert “Bob” Mahurin; and paternal grandfathe­r, Donald Armstrong.

She is survived by her parents, Jim and Ronda Wanders of the home; two brothers, Wade and Malone Wanders, also of the home; maternal grandmothe­r, Pat Wilhelm of Noel, Mo.; paternal grandmothe­r, Naomi Ward of Monticello, Ind.; a host of other family; and numerous classmates who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p. m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Brother Cecil Hall officiatin­g.
