Bonnie Goff, 72, passed away Jan. 21, 2017, at her home from a recent illness. She was born Bonita Joell Delmont on July 21, 1944, to Paul and Ruby Delmont of Columbus, Kan.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was born in Cardin, Okla., but spent most of her life in the Pineville/Jane area. She was a gifted artist and enjoyed painting, making jewelry and sculpting. She particularly loved fishing with her own secret formula dough bait (a recipe which she did not share with anyone).

She had come to love genealogy and had meticulously traced her family’s origins back to the 1700s. She was an amazing cook and worked at numerous cafes throughout her lifetime. She adored animals, especially horses and her beloved dachshunds. She was smart, funny, fiercely loyal, outspoken and devoted to her family.

She was dearly loved by her family, and her common sense and loyalty will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jackie “Sonny” Goff; children, Jess Goff and wife Beverly of Pineville, Mo., Jacki Goff of Springdale, Ark., and Jeril Haug and husband Trey of Tulsa, Okla.; brother, John Porter and wife Naomi of Joplin, Mo.; sisters, Lisa Goff and husband Roger of Anderson, Mo., and Lori Porter of Joplin; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Per her desire, no funeral service is planned.
