What are you trying to do with this New American Health Care Plan legislation, create a health care plan or a tax giveaway plan for the wealthy?
Some of the first things it does are to give a tax cut to the 400 largest earning households in the country of $7,000,000 a year. The plan would also cut tax for people making $200,000 for a single person, $250,000 for a couple, by reversing 0.9 percent tax on their wages. It gives an even greater tax break to unearned income of 3.8 percent on investments. Over a 10-year period it amounts to $346 billion. Incidentally, that money also extends Medicare for three years.
This bill will allow insurance companies to charge up to five times what they charge now to people approaching age 65. The American Health Care Plan does not mandate that you buy insurance, but it requires a 30 percent surcharge for the first year if you allow your insurance to lapse for more than 30 days and decide to obtain insurance again. This bill also cuts deeply into Medicaid, and whether or not people realize it, 65 percent of Medicaid funds support the elderly.
To our representatives in Washington: Stand up for your people. Do not let partisan politics control your actions. This legislation will cause great hardship on the people in this area.

Much has been made about President Trump’s business and turning the same over to his son. Conveniently overlooked in the past is the following: Harry S. Truman’s association with the Kansas City Mafia; the Kennedy fortune was acquired through bootlegging during Prohibition; during the Vietnam War all construction not performed by the Seabees; and Army, Marine, Air Force Engineers was exclusive to RMK/BRJ Construction Co., (at the time the largest construction co. in the world). The “J” was for Johnson. Yes, while 18-year-old draftees were fighting and dying in the jungles “Lady Bird” Johnson, who had the controlling interest in RMK/BRJ, was becoming even richer.
Jimmy Carter, who owned a large corporate peanut farm in Georgia while in office, signed into law subsidies for guess what? Peanut farmers. The Clintons’ story is well known.
I am curious as to what Trump was supposed to do with his businesses once elected, give it to ISIS; illegal aliens; Hillary? I am curious as to the wealth of Nancy Pelosi; Chuck Schumer, etc.
Thank you.
