April 28, 1927 April 13, 2017 Thelma Louise (Shaw) McAnally, 89, left her earthly home on April 13, 2017, 15 days prior to her 90th birthday. She was born April 28, 1927, in Colorado Springs,

Colo., to Merl and Bertie (Royston) Shaw.

She married Jessie Lee McAnally Jan. 13, 1953. They lived all over the United States until finally settling in Anderson, Mo.

She retired from Allen Canning Company, Springdale, Ark., at the age of 74. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family. She was deeply loved and admired by all her family and friends. She had a quick wit and even in her final days was cracking jokes and making people laugh. She was a joy to be around and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie; her parents; three siblings; and a great-grandson.

She is survived by one son, Raymond McAnally of Anderson; two daughters, Georgia Larey of Neosho, Mo., and Patricia Roper of Garden City, Idaho; four stepsons, Bud McAnally and wife Janiece of Anderson, Donnie McAnally and wife Donna of Ulysses, Kan., Harold McAnally and wife Paula of Anderson, and Bobby McAnally of Anderson, 18 grandchild­ren, 33 great-grandchild­ren; and 42 great-great-grandchild­ren.

Graveside memorial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Tracy cemetery with Trevor Royce officiatin­g.

Arrangemen­ts are entrusted to the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson.
