Timothy Allen Feurt
March 5, 1988 Aug. 13, 2017 Timothy Allen Feurt, 29, of Goodman, Mo., went home to be with his Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ on Sunday afternoon,
Aug. 13, 2017, at the Freeman Hospital in Neosho,
Mo., from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on March 5, 1988, in Joplin, Mo., the only child born to the union of Steven Allen and Linda (Ervin) Feurt.
He was raised in Granby, Mo., and was a 2006 graduate of East Newton High School. At the age of 16 he joined the Stark City Volunteer Fire Department. After high school he attended MSSU, receiving his certification as Fireman. For the last five years he was employed by the Missouri Department of Transportation, based out of Joplin. He loved his God and Country. He was strong in his faith and was a defender of the U.S. Constitution. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an avid history buff, faithful minister For His Glory Ministry for the last eight years, had a heart for children and a generous spirit. He was a member of the Canopy Church in Neosho, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ross and Helen Feurt and Cathy Ervin.
He is survived by his parents, Linda Feurt of Goodman and Steve Feurt and companion, Linda Dalton of Joplin, Mo.; maternal grandfather, Raymond Ervin of Carthage, Mo.; two uncles, Raymond Ervin and wife, Susie, of Carthage and Dennis Ervin and wife, Clara, of Joplin; an aunt, Marilyn Sisco and husband, Randy, of Oronogo, Mo.; For His Glory Drama Ministry family; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Jeremie Bridges and Bishop Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Carterville Cemetery in Carterville, Mo. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers were Matt Ervin, Nathan Ervin, Jake Mullen, Brian Powell, Aaron Finley, Bobby Miller, Gary Willman and Jeff Jones, with Isaac Ervin, Owen Blake, Troy Feurt, Caleb Shipers and Curtis Shipers serving as honorary pallbearers.
The family received friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
