Ruby G. Flynn, 83, of Noel, Mo., was called to Heaven on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Mo. After several years of battling the awful disease of Dementia/Alzheimer’s, she is now free of pain and confusion. She was born on Dec. 29, 1933, at Pineville, Mo., to Rueben and Alpha Wilkerson Morgan.

She married the love of her life, Jack Flynn, on June 4, 1952, in Mountain Home, Ark. To this marriage, they were blessed with four children, Ricky Flynn, Jeffery Flynn, Paula Flynn Metcalf and Randall Flynn. She and Jack led an exciting life traveling the world, while Jack served in the United States Army for 23 years. She always made whatever base they were stationed at a home before they would move on to the next base. She and Jack moved back to Noel in 1973 permanentl­y. She worked several jobs but two of her favorites were the Donut Shop in Anderson and Bella Vista and Sham’s Pizza in Noel. She always knew what everyone wanted when they stepped in the door. She also stamped Christmas Cards each year at the Noel Post Office. She had an article written about her and a picture at one time, and was so excited. She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Noel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Flynn; and a son, Randy Flynn.

She is survived by her children, Ricky Flynn of Noel, Jeffery Flynn and wife, Sondra, also of Noel and Paula Flynn Metcalf of Grandview, Mo.; eight grandchild­ren, Heather Flynn, Jeremiah Flynn, Erik Largent, Brandi Mullens, Lindsey Walters, Shannon Carrier, Dusty Flynn and Madelyn Flynn; 11 great-grandchild­ren, Cade Flynn, Joseph Flynn, Lucas Flynn, Mackenzie Largent, Addyson Mullens, Blake Mullens, Maxwell Carrier, Cecilia Carrier, Lucille Carrier, Lennon Walters and Emerson Walters; many nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-law and friend, Billy Flynn. She will be missed by so many people that knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Brother John Mark Payne will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the Lanagan Cemetery in Lanagan, Mo. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
