Ruby G. Flynn, 83, of Noel, Mo., was called to Heaven on Sun­day, Sept. 10, 2017, at the McDon­ald County Liv­ing Cen­ter in An­der­son, Mo. Af­ter sev­eral years of bat­tling the aw­ful dis­ease of De­men­tia/Alzheimer’s, she is now free of pain and con­fu­sion. She was born on Dec. 29, 1933, at Pineville, Mo., to Rueben and Al­pha Wilk­er­son Mor­gan.

She mar­ried the love of her life, Jack Flynn, on June 4, 1952, in Moun­tain Home, Ark. To this mar­riage, they were blessed with four chil­dren, Ricky Flynn, Jeffery Flynn, Paula Flynn Met­calf and Ran­dall Flynn. She and Jack led an ex­cit­ing life trav­el­ing the world, while Jack served in the United States Army for 23 years. She al­ways made what­ever base they were sta­tioned at a home be­fore they would move on to the next base. She and Jack moved back to Noel in 1973 per­ma­nently. She worked sev­eral jobs but two of her fa­vorites were the Donut Shop in An­der­son and Bella Vista and Sham’s Pizza in Noel. She al­ways knew what ev­ery­one wanted when they stepped in the door. She also stamped Christ­mas Cards each year at the Noel Post Of­fice. She had an ar­ti­cle writ­ten about her and a pic­ture at one time, and was so ex­cited. She was a faith­ful mem­ber of the United Methodist Church in Noel.

She was pre­ceded in death by her parents; her hus­band, Jack Flynn; and a son, Randy Flynn.

She is sur­vived by her chil­dren, Ricky Flynn of Noel, Jeffery Flynn and wife, Son­dra, also of Noel and Paula Flynn Met­calf of Grand­view, Mo.; eight grand­chil­dren, Heather Flynn, Jeremiah Flynn, Erik Lar­gent, Brandi Mul­lens, Lind­sey Wal­ters, Shan­non Car­rier, Dusty Flynn and Made­lyn Flynn; 11 great-grand­chil­dren, Cade Flynn, Joseph Flynn, Lu­cas Flynn, Macken­zie Lar­gent, Ad­dyson Mul­lens, Blake Mul­lens, Maxwell Car­rier, Ce­cilia Car­rier, Lu­cille Car­rier, Len­non Wal­ters and Emer­son Wal­ters; many nieces and neph­ews; and her sis­ter-in-law and friend, Billy Flynn. She will be missed by so many peo­ple that knew and loved her.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be held at 2 p.m. on Fri­day, Sept. 15, 2017, at the An­der­son Chapel of the Ozark Fu­neral Home. Brother John Mark Payne will of­fi­ci­ate. Burial will fol­low the ser­vice in the Lana­gan Ceme­tery in Lana­gan, Mo. Visi­ta­tion will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Fri­day, Sept. 15, 2017, in the An­der­son Chapel of the Ozark Fu­neral Home. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends at this time.
