Dec. 12, 1957 Sept. 8, 2017 Vickie Lynn Brehmer, 59, passed away on Fri­day, Sept. 8, 2017, sur­rounded by her fam­ily. She was born Dec. 12, 1957, in Amar­illo, Texas, to her parents Howard Lee

Meese and Naomi Lynn Pol­ing Meese.

The visi­ta­tion with fam­ily and friends was Tues­day, Sept. 11, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Law­son’s Fu­neral Home, 722 N. 46th St., Grove, Okla. Fu­neral ser­vices were held at 11 a.m Wed­nes­day, Sept. 13, 2017, at the First Bap­tist Church in Grove.

Ar­range­ments en­trusted to Law­son’s Fu­neral Homes & Cre­ma­tion Ser­vices. years, she was em­ployed by Belks depart­ment store in Rogers, Ark. Her pas­sion and great­est tal­ent in life was writ­ing. She was a pub­lished au­thor and screen­writer as well as a gifted pho­tog­ra­pher.

She was pre­ceded in death by a sis­ter, Re­becca Epling; ma­ter­nal grand­fa­ther, Thomas Amey; and pa­ter­nal grand­par­ents, Ce­cil Epling and He­len Epling.

She is sur­vived by her parents, Tom and Laura Epling of the home; a brother, Joseph Epling of Billings, Mo.; one nephew, Michael Epling; ma­ter­nal grand­mother, Mary Amey of Wash­burn; pa­ter­nal grand­mother, Juanita Epling of Owasso, Okla.; and a host of other fam­ily and friends.

Fu­neral ser­vices were 2 p.m. Wed­nes­day, Sept. 13, 2017, in the An­der­son Chapel of the Ozark Fu­neral Homes, with John Lam­bert of­fi­ci­at­ing. A pri­vate fam­ily cer­e­mony will take place at the Epling Fam­ily Ceme­tery at a later date.
