Dec. 12, 1957 Sept. 8, 2017 Vickie Lynn Brehmer, 59, passed away on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born Dec. 12, 1957, in Amarillo, Texas, to her parents Howard Lee

Meese and Naomi Lynn Poling Meese.

The visitation with family and friends was Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lawson’s Funeral Home, 722 N. 46th St., Grove, Okla. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Grove.

Donations for the family may be made at Lawson’s Funeral Homes, 722 N. 46th St. Grove, OK 74344, to help with the funeral service.

Arrangemen­ts entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services. years, she was employed by Belks department store in Rogers, Ark. Her passion and greatest talent in life was writing. She was a published author and screenwrit­er as well as a gifted photograph­er.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Epling; maternal grandfathe­r, Thomas Amey; and paternal grandparen­ts, Cecil Epling and Helen Epling.

She is survived by her parents, Tom and Laura Epling of the home; a brother, Joseph Epling of Billings, Mo.; one nephew, Michael Epling; maternal grandmothe­r, Mary Amey of Washburn; paternal grandmothe­r, Juanita Epling of Owasso, Okla.; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes, with John Lambert officiatin­g. A private family ceremony will take place at the Epling Family Cemetery at a later date.
