Laura Paulette Hall, 65, of Neosho, Mo., died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin,

Mo., after a courageous battle with cancer. She entered this life on July

18, 1952, in Tuscumbia,

Mo., to Victor Edward and Mary (Wise) Skiles.

She was raised and attended school in Wichita, Kan. In July of 1983, she moved her family to Neosho. For nearly 20 years, she owned and operated Balloon and Party Attic in Neosho. She enjoyed cooking, decorating for events, sewing, crocheting, quilting and was an avid gardener. She loved being outside tending to her flowers and vegetables. She was a member of the Cornerston­e Bible Church in Neosho.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandy Choate and companion, Justin Baker of Goodman, Mo., Brandie Hall and wife, Mina Wagner of Fairview, Mo., and Nicole Moore and husband, Bobby, of Goodman; five grandchild­ren; one great-grandson; three siblings, Mary Ann Clift of Marshfield, Mo., Jesse Edward Skiles of Kyle, Texas, and Sharon Kay Dutcher of Augusta, Kan.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at Cornerston­e Bible Church in Neosho with Brother Terry Swagerty officiatin­g. Burial followed in the Gibson Cemetery in Neosho. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearer­s were Bobby Moore, Justin Baker, Jesse Hall, Justin Choate, Colin Moore and Samuel Moore. The family received friends on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.

Memorials were directed to the Cornerston­e Bible Church c/o the funeral home.

Arrangemen­ts were under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo.

Rebecca Lena Hamby-Williams

March 3, 1967 Oct. 8, 2017 Rebecca Lena Hamby-Williams, 50, of Anderson, Mo. died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, in Anderson. She was born in Sedalia, Mo., on March 3, 1967, one of three children born to Richard Dean Hamby Sr. and Barbara Joan (Stanton) Hamby.

She was an artist and painted the mural on the Bridge in Anderson behind Casey’s. She loved the outdoors, floating on the river and cherished the time spent with family and friends.

She is survived by four sons, Howard Dale Williams (Heather Derochie), Nathan Sharp, C.J. Teague, Jordon Teague (Shaunda Potarf) all of Anderson; two daughters, Angelique Duncan (Christophe­r), and Karmonique Morriss (Jonathan Burns); two siblings, Richard Dean Hamby Jr. of Arkansas, and Bambi Lynn Tummons of Anderson; 21 grandchild­ren, Breanna, Samantha, Kendra, Devin, Jonathan, Mariah, Jasmine, Jaidonique, Zowie, Karmahlena, Jebadia, Daizeyonah, Aubrey, Timmothy, Jaysten, Jaxton, Angel, Mariah, Ethan, Sawyer and Lillian; two great-grandchild­ren, Dominic and Addalynna; and a host of other relatives and friends. A very special thank you to Harry and Mary McDougal, John Huegel and the River Ranch staff for their love and support.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017, at the McDougal Family Cemetery in Anderson.
