Carolyn Maxine Boyd
Aug. 30, 1949 Oct. 19, 2017 Carolyn Maxine Boyd, 68, of Fairview, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at her home.
She was born Aug. 30,
1949, in Barry County, Mo., to James William and
Danna Ruth (Burton) Stewart.
She graduated high school in Diamond, Mo. On Oct. 11, 1968, she was united in marriage to Jackie Boyd. Most of her life was spent in Barry County. For 21 years she was employed in quality control at Tysons. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Jackie Boyd; one son, Jackie Boyd Jr. of Noel, Mo.; one daughter, Jennifer Dawn Fisher of Fairview; four brothers, Truman Stewart of Cassville, Mo., Johnny Stewart of Dallas, Texas, Billy Stewart of Granby, Mo., and Allan Stewart of Wentworth, Mo.; two sisters, Nancy Tyler of Diamond and Kathryn Kamler of Columbia, Mo.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family received friends on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Mo. Graveside services were held on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at Concord Cemetery in Exeter, Mo.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Jamie Cope conducted the services.
