Oct. 4, 1927 Jan. 22, 2018 Phyllis Jeane Raulsten Cullers, 90, Stella, Mo., entered into rest on Jan. 22, 2018. She was born Oct. 4, 1927 near Stella, Mo., to Roy and Zola Ellen (Long) Raulsten. After attending country schools in Oshkosh and Waddel, she started Stella Elementary in 5th grade, graduating from Stella High School in 1945. Phyllis had worked for Pet Milk Co., Rocketdyne, and as a secretary for Wheaton High School, retiring in 1989. She married Robert Noah Cullers on Jan. 11, 1947, in Neosho; their children are Robert Douglas, Rebecca Jeane, Danny and wife, Janice, and David Lee. Phyllis was baptized September 1947 and joined Stella United Methodist Church, in which she was active for over 71 years. She was also treasurer of Stella Historical Society since its organizati­on in 1984 until 2014; treasurer of Stella Senior Citizens since 1996; helped with Stella All School Reunions until 2014; and was an active volunteer member for the American Heart Associatio­n and American Cancer Society. In addition to her children, she is survived by nine grandchild­ren: Jeff Cullers, Sabra Cullers, Jenny Childers and husband, Ryan, Daniel Cullers and wife, Davina, Robert Cullers and wife, Cristina, Cody Cullers, Phil Laney and wife, Amy, Sean Laney and wife, Jennifer, and Zachary Cullers; 18 great-grandchild­ren: Bryce Cullers and wife, Kayla, Kya Krause and husband, Trey, Macie Engleman, Tucker Engleman, Kamrey Engleman, Caroline Laney, Hazel Joy Laney, Sierra South, Cameron Biggers, Shawn Coliron, Rocky Coliron, Dylan Laney, Gabrielle Francisco, Kalen Childers, Stella Cullers, Wayne Cullers, Audrey Cullers, and Jaden Cullers; and two great-greatgrand­children: Brantley Cullers and Breelyn Cullers.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Noah Cullers, daughter in law, Vickey Cullers, sister, Helen Youngblood, brother, Quentin Raulsten, and special friend, Howard “Doc” Spiva.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Stella United Methodist Church, with Pam Jackson officiatin­g. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery, Stella, Mo. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearer­s. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 25, between 6 and 7 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho.
