James Floyd “Jim” Craig, 64, of Goodman, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Mo., after months of declining health.

He was born Jan. 14, 1954, in Springfiel­d,

Mo., to Floyd Eugene and

Vera Maxine (Purvis)

Craig. He graduated from Turner High School in Kansas City, Kan., in 1972 and furthered his education at Kansas City Kansas Community College. On June 7, 1982, he married Patricia “Patty” Whitney. He worked in the printing and lithograph­y field and enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing pool. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Herb Hendon.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Craig of the home; four children, Heather Given and Jason Fields of Goodman, Daniel Craig of Cameron, Mo., Meredith Baker (Steve) of Stockton, Mo., and Stacy Flynn (Tim) of Olathe, Kan.; 10 grandchild­ren; his stepfather, John Williams of Neosho, Mo.; two brothers, Bob Craig and Tim Hendon, both of Neosho; and three sisters, Libby Adams (Michael) of Topeka, Kan., Kathy Wymer (Gail) of Haslett, Texas, and Gene Ann O’Toole of Cheyenne, Wyo.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Libby Adams officiatin­g. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Stone Cemetery near Diamond. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
