Jay Carl “Bo” Jessen, 55, of Pineville, Mo. died Saturday, March 10, 2018, in his home, surrounded by his family, after a twoyear battle with cancer.
He was born April 9,
1962, in Batesville, Ark., to JC and
Bonnie (Broyles) Jessen. He was a talented mechanic and worked for Benton County Road Department as shop foreman. He also owned and operated JC Brushhogging. He enjoyed driving race cars, construction projects and being outdoors. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, JC Jessen.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy Jessen of the home; five children, Leah Berke (Riley) of Canada, Jay Douglas Jessen of Anderson, Mo., Trenton Jessen (Jessica) of Pineville, Spencer and Landen Jessen, both of the home; five grandchildren; his mother, Bonnie Jessen of Pineville; two brothers, James Jessen of Centerton, Ark., and David Jessen of Pineville; six sisters, Sherry Gosser of Fifty-Six, Ark., Linda Bowden of Maine, Frances Pitts of Fifty-Six, Rosemary Jessen of Pineville, Donna Miller of Decatur, Ark., and Della Guyll of Jane, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Jamey Cope officiating. Burial will follow to the Jessen Family Memorial. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
