Jack D. Cline was born on February 24, 1936, in Logan County, West Virginia, to Debolt and Mary Carrie Suiter Cline, to a large coal-mining family. When he graduated from Logan High School, he joined the Air Force and served from 1954-1958, and remained a proud patriot his entire life. After his honorable discharge, he met and married Carol Farrell and the couple resided in Neosho, Missouri. Jack was employed by the United States Postal Service and worked in the Neosho office as a carrier, clerk, and eventually Post Master in Mansfield, Missouri.

Jack loved his church family at Hilltop Mission Church in Anderson, Missouri, and was grateful for their support and prayers. Jack had an incredible work ethic, was always honest and punctual, and passed these traits on to his children and grandchild­ren. He provided a wonderful life for his family and they looked forward to their annual marathon vacation each summer to historical sites all around the United States.

Jack is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol; son, Jeff and wife Cindy of Wyandotte, Okla., son Joey and wife Ranee of Morris, Okla., daughter Carrie of Neosho, Mo., and daughter Kellie Cline Simpson and husband Randy of Lowell, Ark. Jack’s greatest pride and joy were his seven grandchild­ren, Brandon, Krysta, Joshua, Steven, Sarah, Amanda and Andrew; and five of the most beautiful great-grandchild­ren in the world. Additional survivors include a brother, Gene Cline of Cleveland, Ohio, and a sister, Patty Brennan of Charleston, West Virginia.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Pastor Scott Leonard will officiate. Interment will follow in the King Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Contributi­ons in memory of Jack may be made to King Cemetery, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O.
