Arvest Ranks Among Top 100 Agri Lenders

-

McDonald County Arvest Bank announced that it ranked 29th in the American Bankers Association’s recently released Top 100 Ag Banks by Dollar Volume list.

ABA developed the rankings based on fourth quarter 2017 data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

“Arvest is a proud supporter of our local farm economy and our ranking reflects that,” Arvest Community Bank President Tara Cosgrove said. “Our bank has a long history of providing agricultural loans in our community in addition to providing the traditional banking services our customers rely on.”

Arvest had more than $491 million in farmland loan volume and more than $129 million in farm loan volume, as of Dec. 31. Arvest’s $620 million-plus in total farm loan volume is the highest of any Arkansas-based bank.

“Agriculture is a vital part of the economy in many of the markets that Arvest serves across its four-state footprint,” Cosgrove said. “Arvest customers are involved in virtually every aspect of agriculture and agri-business. We are proud to serve those customers and to be recognized as one of the leading agricultural lending banks in the United States.”
