Doris (Wright) Mathews passed away June 1, 2018, at the Earlene Howard Circle of
Life Hospice Home in Springdale,
Ark. She was born on
March 1, 1938, in Springdale, Ark., to Doyle B. and Ruth (Cordes) Wright. She married the love of her life, Norman Mathews, on May 17, 1957.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Melvin and Tommy Wright; and sister, Margie Kendrick; and her loving husband of 55 years, Norman Mathews.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristi Rowe of Rogers, Ark.; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren, Matthew Rowe and wife Crystal and son Cody of Hindsville, Ark., and Daniel Rowe and wife Hayley and daughter Vanessa of Centerton, Ark.; one sister, Norma Glover; three brothers, Doyle JR., Ronald, and David Wright of Springdale; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on June 5, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. at the Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Ark. The service was held on June 6, 2018, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at the Rollins Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Bentonville Cemetery.
