Vera Lee Tanner

Vera Lee Tanner, 77, of Anderson, Mo., died, July 5, 2018, in the comfort of her home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1941, to Thurman and Claire Embrey, in the Wanda Community near Stark City, Mo. She married Herman Dean Tanner on March 6, 1960, and settled in the Bunker Hill Community where she lived for 56 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Tanner of the home; son, Jessie Joe Tanner (Julie) of Bella Vista, Ark.; daughter, Linda Sue Tanner of Bentonville, Ark.; two grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, 2018, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Marilyn O’Brien officiating. Burial followed in the Tracy Cemetery in Anderson.
Memorials are being directed to the Tracy Cemetery Care Fund c/o the funeral home.
Ozark Funeral Home of Anderson was in charge of arrangements.
