Sept. 18, 1944 Aug. 2, 2018 Josephine Faye (Lewis) Wright, 73, of Noel, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Mo.
She was born Sept. 18,
1944, in Fort
Worth, Texas, to Fay Paul and Josephine Solis (Williams)
Lewis. She grew up in Fort Worth before moving to Rogers, Ark., where she graduated from Rogers High School. She studied nursing and worked for various hospitals. On Jan. 22, 1963, she married Jerry Clarence Wright, in Rogers. She was a member of Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church in Noel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Jerry Wright; and a brother, Richard Williams.
Survivors include her children, Diana Wright of Tarkio, Mo., Jerry Wright of Noel; two grandchildren; adopted son, Adam Wright Salman; and half-sister, Frances Churchill of Murrieta, Calif.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church in Noel with Father Chaz Dunn officiating. Burial with full military honors was held Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Mo.
